It's ME again....

Well just a quick note...

We are all ready for summer, kids have CABIN fever!!! WE can't wait to get out to the cabin and go for a boat ride and hop in the lake.
We celebrated Carlys 2nd birthday, for those of you who don't know Carly, she is the dog in our house! Dylan insisted on a party for her, so why not have a cake and balloons:)
Ryan is one lucky guy...He and his dad are at the Twins home opener today! YAY for them!!
Mia is getting ready for he big dance show in June, she has practice again tomorrow! Lots of hard work to get this Hip-Hop dance perfect!:)

Oh wow, where has the time gone? So I have not been so good at this blog stuff, but Ryan reminded me the other day that I have forgotten about this!!! So kind of him:) I see my last post was in August and it so much has happend since then...and so much I just don't know where to start, so I will just start from here! We all just had a fun filled weekend with Megan, who visited from Colorado and left today. The kids had a great time with her here and were so sad for her to leave.
Mia has been keeping busy with school, 1st grade is "HARD" she says, but she is doing so well in school. I think she must get that from her mother:) Ryan and I are so proud of her, she loves spelling, counting money(gets that from her dad), and reading, reading and more reading:)
Dylan is loving kindergarten!! He has a fabulous teacher and loves to be her helper:) He loves being the tallest kid in his class! The teacher says kids look up to him because he is so BIG and he is so helpful:) He is loving the nice weather and would live outdoors if we let him!!!
Ok so I promise to keep up a little better on this famous blog! I want to do better and keep you all posted on the Sweeney Family!!! Till next time....

I am back and summer is almost over! I guess we have been pretty busy or I have been lazy on my blog! Lots has been going on with us! Mia and Dylan have a new baby cousin, Kandace Newby! My little sister Kristin had her on July 23, 8 weeks earlier then planned! She is doing well and growing like she is supposed too! We have had a few weddings that the kids really like attending, they love the dancing at the receptions! This week we start Bible school at church and the kids are very excited for that! So before you know it school will be starting and the birthday celebrations will start for the month of September. Mia is gonna be 7 & Dylan will be 6, time flies when your having fun. Well I will try harder to keep up with more week to week stuff! Happy Summer:):)

OH AND 1 MORE THING....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE GREATEST DAD IN THE WORLD!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO RYAN:):)

Oh summer is here!!!! The fun has begun!! We took our family trip to Rapid City, SD and had a wonderful time! We saw all the fun tourist spots and even found a few local spots that we all enjoyed. The kids had so much fun, even with a little poison ivy that Mia had got before we left. The poor girl had it in her eye, ear, face, neck, well she was covered! She did very well and still had fun. Dylan loved the water park we went to, and the 1880's train we got to ride on. We all had fun in the Rushmore cave we went in, Bear Country we drove thru, the Fire Station restaurant we ate at, Devils Tower we walked around, the cute donut shop we found, and much more! We all agreed it is just nice to be away and together:)
We have already spent lots of time at the Sweeney family cabin. I think the kids want to live there in the summer! They are both little fishys in the lake and we have a hard time getting them out. It is so nice to go there and relax, even Ryan loves going there and getting away for awhile. Well lots going on and we can't wait for more fun!!! lots of love....

YEAH for Dylan! He graduated from preschool on Monday!!! He was so proud of himself as were we. He even had a few celebrations for the BIG occasion:) After his morning graduation we went to McDonalds to celebrate with some friends and family. That evening we took him out to dinner and he requested a cake from the bakery with a graduation hat on the cake, very important:):) I can't believe he is going to be in kindergarten this fall, time really does get away from a person! He is really excited to go to school with Mia everyday. I think he will do just fine:):)

Mia learned how to roller blade today! I think she was on those things for about 4 hours today! She was most excited when Angela came over with her roller blades and took her around the block! She was very tired tonite when we came in!!! She had a few falls but other than that she did very well! We had one happy girl tonite!!!!
