I am back and summer is almost over! I guess we have been pretty busy or I have been lazy on my blog! Lots has been going on with us! Mia and Dylan have a new baby cousin, Kandace Newby! My little sister Kristin had her on July 23, 8 weeks earlier then planned! She is doing well and growing like she is supposed too! We have had a few weddings that the kids really like attending, they love the dancing at the receptions! This week we start Bible school at church and the kids are very excited for that! So before you know it school will be starting and the birthday celebrations will start for the month of September. Mia is gonna be 7 & Dylan will be 6, time flies when your having fun. Well I will try harder to keep up with more week to week stuff! Happy Summer:):)

OH AND 1 MORE THING....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE GREATEST DAD IN THE WORLD!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO RYAN:):)

Oh summer is here!!!! The fun has begun!! We took our family trip to Rapid City, SD and had a wonderful time! We saw all the fun tourist spots and even found a few local spots that we all enjoyed. The kids had so much fun, even with a little poison ivy that Mia had got before we left. The poor girl had it in her eye, ear, face, neck, well she was covered! She did very well and still had fun. Dylan loved the water park we went to, and the 1880's train we got to ride on. We all had fun in the Rushmore cave we went in, Bear Country we drove thru, the Fire Station restaurant we ate at, Devils Tower we walked around, the cute donut shop we found, and much more! We all agreed it is just nice to be away and together:)
We have already spent lots of time at the Sweeney family cabin. I think the kids want to live there in the summer! They are both little fishys in the lake and we have a hard time getting them out. It is so nice to go there and relax, even Ryan loves going there and getting away for awhile. Well lots going on and we can't wait for more fun!!! lots of love....

YEAH for Dylan! He graduated from preschool on Monday!!! He was so proud of himself as were we. He even had a few celebrations for the BIG occasion:) After his morning graduation we went to McDonalds to celebrate with some friends and family. That evening we took him out to dinner and he requested a cake from the bakery with a graduation hat on the cake, very important:):) I can't believe he is going to be in kindergarten this fall, time really does get away from a person! He is really excited to go to school with Mia everyday. I think he will do just fine:):)

Mia learned how to roller blade today! I think she was on those things for about 4 hours today! She was most excited when Angela came over with her roller blades and took her around the block! She was very tired tonite when we came in!!! She had a few falls but other than that she did very well! We had one happy girl tonite!!!!

Well another great weekend! We were very busy with Great Gma's bday partys and helping gma Brenda with Pat's 80th bday! Megan got to come home for a short visit and she also made it for the party! Sunday nite we all went to the cabin for our 1st pontoon ride of the year:) The kids had lots of fun and it was very relaxing for the rest of us! We even took Carly on the boat and she seemed to like it very much. We are excited for lots more fun at the cabin this summer! The kids are getting ready for school to be done and to go on our family road trip! Lots going on this summer and we are definitely ready for it!

Happy Mothers Day to all you moms! OK so I am a few days late but I was thinking of all those great mommys out there on Sunday! I really enjoyed the day with my kids and my husband:) Ryan and the kids got me a massage to enjoy next Tuesday in which I am really looking forward too:) They all know how much I love those.
Speaking of moms, mine left last weekend to go back to Georgia, and we miss her so much. We had such a good time with her while she was here! Gotta love Gmas:) The kids kept her very busy while she was home. She helped out with babysitting, slumber parties, taking Mia to dance, and of course spoiling them! Dylan hated to see her go, I think sometimes he gets alittle more 1 on 1 time cause he's not in school and he is the only boy around here:) So yes gma we all miss you!!!!
We had a great time in Minneapolis last weekend. We took the kids to the Mall of America and did alittle shopping. Mia and I went to the American Girl doll store and found more than she needed:) Dylan and dad went to Lego land and found some cool new legos that have already been put together and Yes destroyed too:) We also went to the Twins game when we were there, Ryan and Dylan went Friday nite with uncle Luke and then we all went Saturday nite. On Friday Dylan and Ryan were on TV twice. That was pretty exciting for them:)
Well we have been keeping very busy around here with spring and lots of yard work, I have gotten a few new things planted around the yard! I love it and Dylan is so good to water them for me along with everything else in the yard that gets alittle watering:) Mia is getting ready for her spring dance show in a couple of weeks and she is finishing kindergarten! Wow I can't believe it:( and then Dylan is graduating from preschool on June 1st. I think they are both getting anxious for summer as am I. Gma Brenda has taken them both golfing already this spring and out the the cabin. It is so nice to have her close to us because she is always taking the kids here and there or picking them up from school. It is so nice to have a mother in law you can count on for help! :):)
Well enough for now... Happy Spring and I am looking forward to summer and all the fun it will bring:):)

OK so I am not doing that well on my Blog! We have been plenty busy with my mom here. We have had so much fun with Gma Darla here:) The kids have gotten to spend the nite with her and spend some one on one time with her too. She has even had lunch with Mia at school which includes a McDonalds happy meal with COKE! They both think thats funny since mom and dad don't allow her to have that! Oh the things that gmas get away with:) We also found out this week that little sister Kristin is having a baby girl, yes what else in this family:) She is due September, and yes what else is new since all the kids have September birthdays! yikes 5 kids bdays in one month, that's alot of parties:) I do ask for lots of prayers for Kristin as she is so tiny and young to have this baby! Well we are all excited for the weekend, we all, as in Angela and her family, and Auntie Megan, my mom and Ryan, the kids and I are going to the cities for a weekend away! The weekend will include shopping, eating of course, swimming at the hotel, and a few Twins games! I can't wait for a weekend away! So until next time....Have a great rest of the week:)

Oh I almost forgot to tell you that Dylan lost his 1st tooth last week! He looks so cute without that tooth and he got $5 from the tooth fairy:) I know, makes you wanna pull out your teeth and bring them over doesn't it? I put up a picture so you could all see!

Well Happy Easter to all! Hope you had a great Easter and remembered the real reason for the day! Little Dylan will let you know why we have Easter and it is so cute:) We started the weekend with an egg hunt and gma and gpa's house, and BIG, full easter baskets for the kids. They loved it and you would have thought this was the first easter that we had ever had! They both get so excited about holidays it just makes everyone smile:) Mia kept on telling gma Brenda that she was the best and she got the best gifts from her! Mia got a new easter dress for her Mia doll, and some p.j's for her too! She also got a BIG pile of new summer clothes that will come in very handy this summer since she has gotten so big this school year.
Dylan will keep dad busy with all the new Lego sets he got in his easter baskets. He could sit there for hours and put them together with the help of dad. He also got a BIG stack of summer clothes and a new pair of swim trunks:) He can't wait to get to the lake and use them along with new goggles and water shoes:) Dylan of course found the most eggs in all the hunts we had! He is so quick and can spot them so fast:)
I enjoyed the time with family and friends:) We are so lucky to have our family close to us and able to see all of them during the holidays. We spent saturday nite with the Sweeney's being gma & gpa, great gma pat and great aunt Sue. Things are so simple and quiet but the kids and Carly keep things interesting:) When we got home we tried to get the kids to bed, but that was a chore! They were both so excited for morning that they got up about 6 times thru the nite and morning came so early, i think they got up at 5:30am or 6am?! Anywas it was way to early! Well we did the whole bunny thing at home and then went to church. After that we went to my gma & gpa's house for lunch and yes another egg hunt:) My mom came home from Georgia for easter and to spend the next 3 weeks here! Things are pretty loud and crazy at the Morlan house! No dull moments or quiet time for anyone, including baby Reese who i think just needed a nap! When we got home we spent a little time together as a family! It was so nice to be together just the 4 of us:) We went on a walk and yes we took Carly, spent some time playing baseball in the front yard and figured out our new toys from the easter bunny! We all had a GREAT day and a wonderful EASTER! Now bring on the summer weather:):)

Ok well here we go...We are the Sweeneys:) I really don't think that we are that interesting but we do have some funny things that happen, I mean we do have kids:) Mia is 6 and 1/2 and she will let you know. Sometimes she acts like she is 16, and is that scary. She is in kindergarten this year and ready for 1st grade. She does really well in school and has lots of friends. Mia keeps busy with phone calls, church on wednesdays, dance on thursdays, and working at Raphaels on saturdays. Yes I said work, she loves to be at work with mom and dad at the bakery. Mia loves to visit with customers and bring donuts around for them, most of the time she leaves work with a few bucks:)
Dylan is 5 and 1/2 and is growing up way to fast. He is such a funny little guy! He usually makes us laugh at something he says or does:) Dylan goes to preschool 3 days a week and is gearing up for kindergarten next year. I think he will love being at the same school as his sister. Dylan keeps himself busy with our dog Carly. She just turned 1 last week and Dylan insisted we have a birthday party for her. He invited gma & gpa, Angela and her kids, and Kristin over for the party. Dylan loved the party. He also has church on wednesdays and plays with other kids at the dance studio while we wait for Mia. Dylan gets to come to work a few days during the week and when he feels like it he works otherwise he just plays:) He is very good there and keeps himself entertained with the help of gma Brenda.
Ryan is a great husband and a wonderful father! He works 6 days a week at the bakery and really seems to enjoy it. He usually goes in to work at about 2:30 am, and unlike me gets up without any problem:) He is at work until about 11am or noon everyday and then takes Dylan home with him. They usually spend some good time together of Dylan takes a nap and dad gets his own time. Now that baseball has started I know that will take up most of his time at home:)
And me Maria, the mom and wife! I work at the bakery with the rest of the family, and am very lucky to only have to work 4 days a week. It gives me a little time with Dylan and I do love to help in Mias class. It also gives me some good mom time and I can get a few things done without kids:) I am really waiting for the weather to get nice so we can be outside more and enjoy time with the neighbors and take our nightly walks! I am also looking forward to spending time at the Sweeney family cabin!
